The CMU pronouncing dictionary is a pronunciation dictionary in the public domain created by the Carnegie Mellon University. The latest release as of February 19, 2008 is the version 0.7a.[1] The lexicon contains more than 125,000 entries.It should be easy to make the CMU pronouncing dictionary compatible with the Pronunciation Lexicon Specification.
